Outings

Each month we have an official Club Outing.

Please visit the outings page for the Google Earth map of potential locations. A Poll will show up two weeks prior to the outing date in the Upcoming Events Board on our club Forum. The poll will last 7 days from Sat to Sat

We encourage Club Members who will actually participate to vote on the next outing's location. Please do not vote unless you plan to attend. Club members can get all last minute outing details also in the Upcoming events board

All 2009 outing dates are available on the calendar, simply select the month at the bottom of the page. Outing dates vary monthly and are based on other life events & moon cycles.

Outing launch time is based on Sunrise Time Give yourself enough time to dismount and Rig your Yak.

As most of the group is into sight fishing for Reds we tend to cover a lot of water while looking for tails. We tend to drift apart and cross paths as we circle the various islands in the lagoons. Most of us use Cell phones to communicate as we have found the signals to be pretty reliable even in the remote areas of the lagoon.

We often head back towards launch near noon although some of us will stay back and fish the afternoons.
